Last March I amputated the tip of my finger the first day of packing.Today, my hard old black fingertip came off, almost 3 months to the date. It has been really loose the past few days. Dr Shealy said that it looks really good and that it will fill in and re-shape itself over the next few years. There is no need for any surgery or skin grafts. The more I use it, the better it will look. It healed over the bone and I will not have any bone loss.
It is all because of the many, many prayers from my sweet nieces and nephews, sisters and parents and grandparents and Todd and Taely! Thank you. Having my finger injured just as we were moving was an extremely stressful thing for me. It was probably one of the most stressful times in my life!
